FIXLY

A few useful answers.

Straightforward answers about files, privacy and using FIXLY.

Where are my files processed?

In your browser on your device. There is no file upload endpoint, server processing queue or external file storage. Pages and code still need to load from the host.

Do I need to pay or create an account?

No. Downloads are free, without watermarks. Optional advertising may fund the site after configuration and approval.

Can I work on a phone?

Yes, in a current browser. Large files need more memory, so a smaller image or a shorter PDF may work better on a phone. Limits are shown in each tool.

Can I cancel processing?

Yes. Cancel stops the processing Worker. The original files are unchanged. You can then try again or start with different files.

Why did my image get larger?

Browser encoding is not guaranteed to outperform the original encoder. PNG is lossless; JPEG and WebP depend on quality settings and image content. Compare the original and result before saving.

What happens to PDF forms and signatures?

These PDFs are rejected. Page copying can lose document features and cannot preserve signature validity. Use ordinary unencrypted documents and inspect every result.

Does FIXLY work without internet?

Once a tool and its processing assets have loaded, processing is local. FIXLY does not install an offline cache, so a first visit or an unloaded tool still needs a connection.
